  • Markers:
    • Make accurate comparison between life-size (what you see) and image-size (what you get).
    The personalized R & L marker sets or the stand alone 3cm ruler are specifically designed for Teleradiology and CR imaging, where the image-size does not always match the life-size anatomy.

    Place a marker on the DR or CR Plate and capture the radiographed anatomy.

    The image size of the 3cm ruler gives an immediate visual and measureable cue as to the size of the screen image compared to the life size anatomy.
    Each marker has a lead 3cm ruler.
    Color coded: L-Blue / R-Red.

  • Acrylic Scales

    • These special scales are used when the radiologist needs to indicate locations or measurements in the imaging field. We engrave deep, 0.5 cm. graduations into tough acrylic plastic and fill them with a special radiopaque compound to leave distinct images on the radiograph. These scales have a center line for topographic recordings. They are available in both the 45 cm. and 115 cm. lengths with a hanging hole for storage.

  • Flexible Scales

    • This radiopaque extremity ruler is manufactured from a high performance, chemical-resistant plastic which can be sterilized using ethylene oxide or alcohol. Unlike acrylic rulers, this ruler is very flexible and virtually unbreakable.
    These scales are used whenever measurements or locations in the image field are required. 1 cm. and 0.5 cm. graduations are engraved at least 0.030″ deep and filled with a special, flexible radiopaque material to give distinct and permanent readings on the radiograph. 115 cm. lengths are available in two thicknesses (1/16″ and 1/8″), and we also manufacture 45 cm. flexible scales (1/16″ thick).

  • Transparent Rulers
    • To make measurements directly on the x-ray film, the technologist can use this flexible Transparent Ruler. The top edge has distinct 1/4" graduations with adjoining grids for precise locating and measurement. The bottom edge has millimeter graduations.
